St. Brigid’s Day to Spring

The Infant classroom had a lot of new learning experiences this term. We really enjoyed making our lovely St. Brigid’s day crosses and learning all about the Spring flowers and spotting signs of Spring on our Nature walk.

Getting creative for Valentines day and using the clay to make special gift .

For World book day the children had fun sharing their favourite book with other children. During Feb and March we also set up reading buddy time twice a week for 6 weeks .All the children loved this shared reading experience.

Drama with Juile Fielers was a huge success.

St Patrick’s day celebrations included Lá glas a treasure hunt and a whole school Ceilí .We loved learning some Irish dances and being a part of a Ceilí Mór.

Junior/Senior Infants – Christmas 2022

On Monday 19th Dec The Community Council Santa’s visit to our school accompanied by his Elves. Each child in the school were delighted to be given a selection box . Thanks  very much  to the Community Council for this generous gift.
